Blue Devils dominated by Northmen – June 5th
The Orangeville Northmen dominated the game from start to finish tonight in route to a 9 to 2 victory. The frustration boiled over in the third period as the was a line brawl and even one player from each bench joining in the fracas. The Blue Devils need to “right the ship” quickly or their season will end. They get the chance in Sarnia to redeem themselves on Wednesday.
The winner of the $200 gift card was Trevor Young. Cammie Miller won the 50/50 draw which was $62.50.
Blue Devils “gorged” by Elora – May 30th
The London Blue Devils played an inspired game for a second night in a row but the Elora Mohawks were just too tough and took a 10 to 6 victory. Brendan Chess lead the way for the Devils scoring 3 goals from his defensive position. The Blue Devils hope to get back on the winning track Friday night when they travel to Wallaceburg to play the Red Devils. Every game is now very important as they chase that 8th and final playoff spot.
Kay Wigle (Scott Martin’s Mom) won the 50/50 worth $52.50.
Blue Devils win battle with Spartan – May 29th
The London Blue Devils defeated the Spartan tonight, 10 to 8. The game was not as close as the score indicated as the Devils took control in the second period and widened their lead in the third. A few questionable calls late in the game allowed Spartan to close the gap but it was a case of too little, too late.
The Blue Devils are right back at it as they host the Elora Mohawks on Sunday night at Nichols Arena at 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Rushton from Spartan won the 50/50 draw worth $60.00.

Childerhose Scores OT Winner – May 9th
Kyle Childerhose, who took the last second shot last night against Six Nations to try and tie the game, made no mistake today scoring the tying goal and then the OT winner in Owen Sound as the Blue Devils won, 5 to 4. Chili, as he is affectionately known, has been playing very well all season and is making huge contributions lately.
This weekend was a big boost to the team’s confidence and they now need to play very well in the next three games against Wallaceburg (two) and Guelph to turn their fortunes around.
Good work Devils.
Devils put scare into Rebels – May 8th
The London Blue Devils came very close tonight but were unable to beat the Six Nation Rebels. Trailing 9-8 with less than 23 seconds to play, the Devils called a time out and ran one last play with the goalie pulled. The play was well designed but the bounces did not go the right way for the Devils and they ended up on the short end of the score.
The Devils are right back at it tomorrow as they travel to Owen Sound for an afternoon tilt.
Tonight’s 50/50 draw winner of $132.50 was Mike Patrick.
Special thanks to the Dockstader family for coming out tonight to sell tacos as a fundraiser for the team.
Blue Devils Set The Pace – May 2nd
The London Blue Devils defeated the Sarnia Pacers 6-4 tonight for their first win of the year. Sarnia jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but London fought back and dominated the second period. Rookies Damon Miller and Tyler Diebolt both scored their first goals of the season and three power play goals in the game made the difference. London travels to Sarnia on Wednesday for a rematch and will need to come up with a similar or better effort in order to win both ends of the back to back contests.
Tonight’s 50/50 winner of $80.00 was Tammy Jenkins.
Windsor Clips London – April 24th
The Windsor Clippers spoiled London’s home opener with a 10-4 win tonight. London came out strong but Windsor’s Erik McLaren stood tall in net. Windsor held a comfortable lead at the end of the first and were steady the rest of the way. There was some impressive goals in the third period to increase London’s goal count but it was not enough to rival what Windsor had already done. This was an disappointing home opening loss for the Devils. They now know what they will need to work on before they head to tomorrow’s game in Oakville, where they will take on the Buzz.
Good luck Blue Devils!
Tonight’s 50/50 winner was Ed McGaffey (Windsor’s goalie coach) who won $152.50.
Mimico takes Revenge – April 11th
